2) Anywhere in the Continental U.S. or Canada.

3) 35 lbs. per person, please make it soft luggage such as a duffle bag or small soft-sided suitcase. Please use coolers that are 40 Qt. size or smaller. Please no cube coolers, they are hard to load into the plane.

4) Please check in 30 minutes before your flight. This will give time for: you to unload, for us to load onto the plane, and for you to check in at the desk and pay for your flight. Pelee passengers please show passports when checking in.

5) Yes, your pet can travel with you. Dogs: Extra Large $47.00 One Way, Large $15.00 One Way, Medium $10.00 One Way, Small $5.00 One Way. All cats must be in carriers and they are $5.00 One Way.

6) Please call 3 hours before the flight leaves Sandusky Airport to cancel or change a reservation. During Holiday times all cancellation and changes will be made 24 hours before flight leaves Sandusky Airport. No shows, late cancellations and changes will be subject to an additional charge. NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS.

7) A passport is required to fly to or from Canada. Before you make a reservation please have ready everyone's legal name, birth date, passport number and passport expiration date. You will need all this information in order to make the reservation.

8) Ticket pricing to any Lake Erie Island is:
$45.00 One Way, $90.00 Round Trip for adults 10 and older
$22.50 One Way, $45.00 Round Trip, for children 3 to 9
Babies 2 and under No Charge.
If flying to Pelee Island there is an additional $5.00 charge on the return flight, therefore making the fare $55.00 for return flight, total $105.00 for round trip for Pelee.

9) No there is not rental car service at the airport, but there are a few in this area and they are great about bringing cars down for you to pick up.

10) Yes there are landing fees. If you leave the premises, drop a passenger off and/or are conducting business on the field. With a minimum fuel purchase the first day landing fee is waived. Single Engine 15.0 gal minimum, Twin Engine 30.0 gal minimum.

11) We have Av Fuel, 100LL and JETA premixed with prist. We do not have a fuel truck, please ask on the UNICOM where to park if you will purchase fuel.

12) FBO is open 8 AM to 6 PM.

13) Pilots license estimated cost is $8500.00 based on 50 hours of instruction at $135.00 an hour. Please take a look at the Flight Instruction page for additional information.

14) We offer a shuttle to the park for $15.00 per plane for the one way or $25.00 Roundtrip. The lastest we pick up from Cedar Point is 7:00 P.M. If you like to stay later we will give you a list of taxi services.

15) Ground instruction is scheduled with the instructor and is given individually.

16) No courtesy car available.

17) Yes, passport is required if flying internationally.

18) Yes, we are a port of entry. Call Customs to set up your clearance (419) 625-0022 or Downtown office (419) 625-2194.

19) Yes we have a Maintenance Department at the airport. Shop is open Mon. - Fri. 8 AM - 5 PM

20) Flights are available to South Bass Island (Put-In-Bay), Middle Bass Island, North Bass Island, Kelleys Island, Rattlesnake Island (private island), and Pelee Island (Canadian island).

21) Yes we can fly you to take aerial photos. We do not have a photographer, you will have to acquire a photography service.

22) Yes, we have aircraft rentals. If you have not had instruction here or have not rented a plane from us before, you will have to be checked out by one of our instructors before you can rent a plane.

23) UNICOM frequency is 123.0.

24) No, large commercial aircraft can not land at our airport. If you're flying in to go to Cedar Point, you will have to fly into Cleveland or Toledo, then drive to Sandusky.
